Jacob Fanto

Jacob Fanto is a composer, orchestrator, instrumentalist, and producer currently based in New York City, with a background in classical percussion performance. "Brimming with driving rhythms, vivid timbres, and rich lyricism," Fanto's compositional works range from chamber ensemble to symphonic film music. He has already written the music for a number of short films and has won numerous composing competitions. Additionally, Fanto has orchestrated for film composer Timothy Williams on a number of projects for studios such as Lionsgate, Marvel, and Sony Pictures. Credits include Pluribus (2025), Echo (2024), Mistura (2025), Your Monster (2024), Fixed (2025), and The Bagman (2024). Fanto studied music at Williams College and currently works at the Metropolitan Opera while he continues to work on a number of exciting projects.
